Cheese at Käse is handmade – the cheese production follows western traditional methods that were adapted to the Chennai weather conditions.

Founded by Anuradha Krishnamoorthy and Namrata Sundaresan, Käse employs disabled women as cheese-makers and promotes local flavours.

For the founders, artisanal making and clean processing are the hallmarks of their initiative—fresh milk arrives early in the morning and the team starts working within a couple of hours.
