Natasha Celmi of Cucina Mia the founder of "Mama Mia! gelato" and a trained icecream chef from Italy is bringing to you for the first time in Bangalore some lip smacking desserts and no churn ice creams which are delicious and easy to make. 

This is sure to be a hit at your next party or with the kids at home! 

In this session, you will learn how to make 9 types of Frozen Desserts using fresh local produce & ingredients:

  1. Caramel Swirl Ice cream
  2. Fresh Mango Ice cream
  3. Double Chocolate Ice cream
  4. Salted Caramel Sauce
  5. Hot Fudge Sauce
  6. Crunchy Chocolate Sticks
  7. Layered Icecream Pudding
  8. Frozen Mango cake
  9. Pomegranate Lime popsicles 

What you can expect: A DIY ice cream shop at home

  • The class will be taught Demo style by Natasha with participants getting hands-on with her guidance to do various tasks together. 
  • Lots of variations will be given. You learn the basics of making ice cream then use your imagination to play around with flavours and mix ins.
  • The class is all vegetarian. No eggs. No gelatin.
  • Lots of fresh natural ingredients will be used 
  • Basic recipes like the sauces, chocolate sticks, cake etc. can be adapted to other desserts
  • All the recipes are very quick, easy and convenient made from locally sourced ingredients

Why we love this? 

Who better to learn from about ice-cream than a gelato (Italian icecream) Chef trained in Italy? Natasha learnt this art in the small town of Bergamo near Milan. She founded the brand, Mama Mia! Gelato which later became a successful chain of gelato stores in India. She shares the secrets behind the the art of making gourmet ice cream at home!

The class will be taught in the cozy Mama Mia gelato shop itself situated in the heart of Indira Nagar.

      About your chef: Natasha Celmi

      Her experience in the food industry starts from 2005 when she started Mama Mia! Gelato a chain of gelato shops in India, offering gourmet artisan ice cream and desserts. After selling her ice cream brand a few years ago, Natasha is now on to her new venture, Cucina Mia

      Cucina Mia is a space for culinary workshops and cooking events for both adults and kids. Cucina Mia which means “my kitchen” in Italian invites you to try  innovative recipes, tips and tricks to make you a pro and to simply have fun with food. She is currently experimenting and having fun with food styling and food photography as well.
