Praveen Krishnamurthy a wine guru & enthusiast will talk about the wines. Praveen is also a wine Investment advisor and rated as the first in the country to be so. He facilitates a lot of wine tasting events across the country

About the Cheese Tasting:
One of the lead cheesemakers from Käse recently travelled to the U.K. And worked at an award winning Dairy farm in Somerset, that makes cheddar and Caerphilly.
The evening will commence with multiple rounds of Wine & cheese tasting. 10 types of cheese (British Artisanal & cheese made locally at Käse, Chennai) will be paired with 3-5 different wines:
The sparkling blanc de blanc made from 100% Chenin Blanc using method tradtionale. It starts with on an acidic note and matures into a smooth creamy fatty texture.
The white wine is a Sauvignon Blanc that displays citrusy and herbaceous characters coupled with tropical notes such as mint, papaya and capsicum
The red wine is a Cabernet Merlot blend that has has sweet aromas of cherries and tobacco from the Cabernet that blends in with the cocoa and spice notes from the Merlot.

About Käse Cheese:
We love Käse as they work with people with disabilities to make artisanal cow milk cheese. Käse was founded in June 2016, its name meaning cheese in the German language. However, it wasn’t until they won the ‘Taste of the Market’ award at Karen Anand’s first farmers market in Chennai that the duo put on entrepreneurial hats. The duo decided that they were on to something and went on to create a niche for themselves with a brand of cheese that is locally-made and “clean” – free from any form of additives, preservatives, stabilizers and emulsifiers found in processed cheese. The cheese is made at the Käse unit located in Alwarpet, Chennai. For the founders, artisanal making and clean processing are the hallmarks of their initiative.
