Käse was recently in the land of "Kase" and have brought back a drool worthy selection of Bavarian and Scandinavian cheese.
Think Allgäuer bergkäse, Ziegenkäse, Gjetost, the popular brown Mysost, Vädenost, crumbly Blue and much more.
At the event Namrata & Anuradha of Käse will be presenting 10 types of cheese which will be a mix of these as well as their own cheese made locally at Käse, Chennai paired with 3-4 different wines, accompanied by breads / crackers / chutneys, fruits and small plates.
Praveen Krishnamurthy a wine guru & enthusiast will talk about the wines. Praveen is also a wine Investment advisor and rated as the first in the country to be so. He facilitates a lot of wine tasting events across the country.
He will cover the tasting notes of the wines and how they pair with cheese & food.

About Käse Cheese:
We love Käse as they work with people with disabilities to make artisanal cow milk cheese. Käse was founded in June 2016, its name meaning cheese in the German language. However, it wasn’t until they won the ‘Taste of the Market’ award at Karen Anand’s first farmers market in Chennai that the duo put on entrepreneurial hats. The duo decided that they were on to something and went on to create a niche for themselves with a brand of cheese that is locally-made and “clean” – free from any form of additives, preservatives, stabilizers and emulsifiers found in processed cheese. The cheese is made at the Käse unit located in Alwarpet, Chennai. For the founders, artisanal making and clean processing are the hallmarks of their initiative.
